WHAT A DAY
"Our live auction on March 5th: was an outstanding success, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Everything came together perfectly—the venue was absolutely superb, the atmosphere was electric, and the support we received from Swansea.com was second to none. Even the weather played its part, blessing us with glorious sunshine and blue skies, ensuring our clients arrived with a spring in their steps and excitement in the air.
A huge part of this success was due to the seamless operation of our new booking system. In the lead-up to the auction, it worked flawlessly, allowing for smooth pre-event organisation and ensuring that everything ran efficiently on the day. The companies that supported us through advertising in our catalogues and setting up stands at the event played a vital role in enhancing the experience for everyone involved. Their presence contributed to the professional and dynamic feel of the day, reinforcing the strength of our network and partnerships.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the phenomenal team at Dawsons Auction House. The amount of unseen work carried out in the build-up to the event was immense, and on the day, their efforts were simply outstanding. From confirming client bookings at the door to acting as runners, facilitating exchanges, and ensuring everything ran smoothly, every single member of the team gave their all. One of the standout moments of the day was witnessing our Auctioneer, James Dawson, in action. I had heard great things about his skill and expertise, and he did not disappoint. It was an absolute pleasure to watch him work, and his performance undoubtedly contributed to the auction’s fantastic results.
Our partners handling telephone bids also played a crucial role, adding an extra layer of excitement to the room. Meanwhile, our IT team worked tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that every lot went under offer seamlessly and that the entire auction progressed without a hitch.
