Being a local independent partnership, we have continuously grown since inception in 1991 to now having over 120 employees within our branches covering Swansea, Llanelli and surrounding areas. We are extremely proud to note that over 60% of our team have been with us for over 10 years, with many of these being 20 years +, this is due to the investment in our team’s training and development along with the encouragement for our staff members to grow individually alongside the business.

Accounts Assistant

Location: Walter Road, Swansea

Dawsons Swansea’s Leading Estate Agency with dedicated branches across Swansea and Llanelli, is looking for a suitable candidate to join their busy, experienced, and motivated accounts team based in our Swansea (Walter Road) branch.

The hours of work will be 9.30-2.30 Monday to Friday (Part-time).

Dawsons pro-active approach to the property industry and our ability to provide our clients with a quick and efficient personal service, is foremost in our thinking. Our market is competitive, so we need someone that is highly energetic and willing to go that extra mile to get the job done.

Along with the current and key accounts team, the successful candidate will be responsible for sales and purchase ledger and must have accounts experience with Sage 50.

The Role, will be responsible for:

Processing supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
Maintaining existing and creating new supplier accounts.
Processing Credit card expenditure
Preparing and processing supplier payments by Bacs.
Processing sales ledger invoices and credit notes.
Maintaining existing and creating new customer accounts.
Liaise with both suppliers and customers to assist with queries.
Assist in matching and posting of customer payments.
Give support and cover during busy times and absence.
Carrying out general admin duties as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical, written and communication skills and will be keen to progress and will possess:

A professional, positive, and enthusiastic approach.
A strong customer focus.
Will possess great self-motivation.
Great accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work on your own as well as in a team.
Intermediate MS Word, Excel, & Outlook skills as a minimum.

Preferable Candidates will possess:

Experience preferred in the industry or 1 years accounting in a similar environment.
Experience with industry or comparable software.

Residential Lettings Consultant

Location: Mumbles Branch, Swansea

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs) – Mon–Thu 9am–5:30pm, Fri 9am–5pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am–4.00pm

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service from initial enquiry through to move-in.
Conduct accompanied viewings, negotiate contracts, and liaise between landlords and tenants, as well as accommodating the related administrative aspects.
Build rapport with landlords and prospective tenants, proactively growing and retaining our client base.
Complete accurate inventory schedules and condition reports, support routine property visits, along with end of occupation property inspections.
Collaborate with your branch team to exceed targets and uphold Dawsons’ high standards.

What You’ll Bring

Preferably at least 1 years’ experience in lettings, property, or customer service.
Full driving licence (essential).
Excellent organisation, communication, and time-management skills.
A proactive, enthusiastic, and target-driven approach.
Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.
Competence with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
