Dawsons Auction Department has changed their auction process to reflect the changing times. We are now using an online auction platform. The system runs off our own website and is extremely easy to use, it allows purchasing from all over the country to bid from their home, work or on the move via their phone.
As mentioned above we have had a fantastic sales success rate for our online auctions of 100% since March 2020.
We are able to have this amazing success rate due to a number of factors: Properties get sold on their own merit, they will not be entered into an group auction where they will be competing against 20/30 other properties. Each lot will have it’s own start and end date.
We can sell lots prior to auction, if the legal pack is complete and there is an acceptable offer on the table we can accept it. The exchange procedure remains the same with a buyer exchanging contracts immediately, putting down a 10% deposit of the purchase price and completing with in 28 days.
As well as the auction department, which consists of three members of staff that only value and sell auction lots from Port Talbot, Swansea, Llanelli, Valleys and Carmarthen.
