Hopping into Action: Dawsons’ Easter Egg Collection for Local Foodbanks
Easter is a time of joy, generosity, and coming together as a community, so once again all of us here at Dawsons, CLC, Dawsons Training Wales and Fine & Country Swansea are joining forces to spread a little joy this Easter. We are proud to continue our annual Easter egg collection in partnership with Agents Giving. For nearly a decade, we’ve opened our branches as drop-off points, inviting our wonderful clients, colleagues, and local residents to donate Easter eggs for families in need.
This initiative has become a cherished tradition for us, and each year, we’re blown away by the generosity of our community. Every Easter egg donated makes a difference, bringing a moment of happiness to families who might otherwise go without. The donations we collect are delivered to our local Trussell Trust foodbanks, where they are distributed to those facing hardship.
Over the years, we’ve seen first-hand how small acts of kindness can have a big impact. From families bringing in extra eggs with their little ones to businesses contributing in bulk, the support we receive is always heartwarming. Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we collected hundreds of Easter eggs, and we’re hoping to make this year’s collection even bigger...
How Can You Help?
- Donate an Easter egg at any of our Dawsons branches. Every donation, big or small, helps bring a smile to a child’s face this Easter.
- We are collecting for Llanelli, Gorseinon, Lifepoint (Swansea) and St Thomas Foodbanks.
- Deadline for donations: Saturday 12th April 2025 - So the eggs can be distributed in time for Easter.
Foodbanks provide a vital lifeline to many, and none of us know when we or someone we love may need their support. This small act of kindness can make a big difference to families facing hardship.
