Callum Thomas shortlisted in Relocation Agent Network’s Employee of the Year Award

Dawsons is pleased to announce that our Senior Auction Consultant, Callum Thomas has been nominated for Relocation Agent Network’s prestigious 2019 Employee of the Year Award. The accolade recognises individual excellence in one Relocation Agent Network staff member across England, Scotland and Wales.

Recipients of the award are those that go above and beyond in their day-to-day duties. Not only providing customers with the highest levels of service but positively promoting their company by participating in initiatives such as local community projects. The winner will be announced at the 2019 Relocation Agent Network National Conference and Exhibition, being held this year at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, London on Friday 22 November.

Jo Summerfield-Talbot, Sales Director sums up why Callum was nominated for this Award: 

"Callum has had an exceptional year and is highly respected and liked by his colleagues and peers. The auction department has had a phenomenal year despite the uncertainty in the housing market and Callum must take a large amount of credit for his input, dedication and quiet, yet steely determination.  6 public auctions have been held this year and not only has Callum held down his fulltime job, but he also undertook control of the marketing department from April whilst our marketing manager was on maternity leave, requiring a huge amount of commitment inside and outside of work hours. Callum was not only instrumental in securing sponsorship for the South Wales Air show 2 years running, but he also co-ordinated the weekend event this year, along with undertaking a Sky Dive for local cancer charity Ty Olwen Hospice at Morriston Hospital.  He contributes so much to Dawsons not just in his day-to-day role but equally our very highly regarded community work such as attending school fetes, judging school painting competitions, he even attended the hospital dressed as an Easter Bunny to hand out eggs and gifts to children unwell over the Easter holidays. Due to his ease and command in front of the video camera, he is often seen on our Community Videos and he was handpicked to promote the Relocation Agent Network on their 2019 promotional video for use across social media platforms! Callum is a huge asset and great ambassador for Dawsons and he always upholds our core values and that of our partners. If only we could clone him!!"
